Blog # 5

I don’t think I could ever live a life of solitude as Thoreau did.  Yes I could probably live without my technology and comforts of everyday life but the loneliness I could not.  I hate to be alone and do store yourself away all alone with nothing to do and no one to talk to I would go insane.

What verse will you contribute:
So this is a completely different subject but I feel it is important to talk about.  I truly believe that one person can change the world.  Your thoughts, words and actions can not only affect your life but everyone around you as well.  I you feel strongly about something you should stand up and fight for it because we all have a voice.  I don’t think most people understand that everything they say and do leaves an impact on another person.   As far as my verse I don’t exactly know what it is yet but as long as I can make just one person’s life better along the way it was all worth it.

  1. It seems that everyone agrees that although living without technology would be hard, what is even moe difficult is living without other people. We are naturally social and need other people around to talk to. I also agree with you one person can change the world and make an impact on peoples lives.

  2. I feel everyone is on the same page for this blog post, it all comes down to the social aspect of it, then again the loss of technology would suck as well. As for the second part, I feel some people never find out what their purpose in life is and they feel empty but at the same time not everyone is destined to do something profound in life it is the little things people do that define them as a person.

  3. Like everyone has already said technology is something that we have always had in front of us. Its how we were brought up, so it would be extremely hard to live without it. As for the second part, I feel everyone is on this earth for a reason. I feel being true to yourself and others will result in helping someone or yourself in little ways. Always be true to yourself and the little things will make an impact on the people around you.

  4. I think you're right that everything we say or do has an effect on other people. It doesn't matter if it's something small, it will stay with someone forever even if it's in the back of their mind.
Also, with the technology, like I've said on other's blog, the loneliness would get to me too. It's hard not to be able to communicate with people. The silence would be the worst.
